Da’Wah to Christians: Jeses (pbuh) prayed Salah (Islamic prayer)
To begin my series on making da’wah to followers of Christianity, I’m going to draw upon several references in the Bible (King James) which show occasions when Jesus Christ and several other Prophets (pbut) worship and pray to God in a manner similar to the Islamic form of prayer, Salah. These quotes also specifically mention them prostrating before God, a manner of prayer not performed or endorsed by either Jews or Christians, but only the Muslims. If used in a timely fashion, the use of these references can prove to the Christian how the Muslims are truer followers of the teachings and behaviors of Jesus Christ (pbuh):
And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them.
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?
